Introducing our new social support club for young women
Mission: To empower young women to support one another, identify their strengths and develop new skills that allow them to feel success in various aspects of their lives.
Yes She Can will bring together young women in a safe environment who want to focus on empowering themselves and each other. Team members will have opportunities to explore what success means to them, to create new friendships, and build a community with a culture of success and fulfillment.
Leadership: Led by a licensed clinical social worker and graduate level MSW students. Women’s Success Team members will also take on leadership responsibilities in directing group activities or discussions.
Participation: For young women between the ages of 18-28 who are able to be in the community with limited support, and who are looking for social connections and help in developing the skills to make those connections. Membership encourages regular participation in group discussion and activities and will focus on establishing a fun and supportive network for all its members.
Date and Time: Wednesdays from 4:30-6pm with some variation based on scheduled activities.
Meeting location: Koi Creative Workspace, 169 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. Community based activities will take place at various locations. Calendars with details will be distributed in advance.
