Being a Trainee at Yes She Can
Yes She Can unlocks the untapped potential of young autistic individuals to achieve personal employment goals that may have once seemed unattainable. It may be getting a meaningful, authentic work experience; achieving skills needed for competitive employment; enhancing workplace social and communication skills; or developing the ability to self-advocate for support at a job.
Each trainee’s journey is unique, shaped by their individual strengths and challenges. One trainee told us: “Every one of us who walk through the Yes She Can doors are in a completely different place. No two trainees will have the same exact challenges or the same exact strengths.”
