Me and My Autism

Throughout the month of April, Autism Acceptance Month, we will introduce you to many expressions of autism.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurological condition that involves varying but persistent challenges in social interaction, speech, and nonverbal communication, repetitive patterns of thought and behavior, and intense passion for special interests.

The effects of ASD and the strengths and challenges it brings are different for each autistic person.

Yes She Can Inc., a non-profit founded in 2013, is dedicated to helping young women with autism and related disabilities develop transferable job skills and workplace social skills – through authentic work experience.  We serve teen girls in transition from high school to adulthood and young women with autism spectrum disorders in an inclusion setting at Girl AGain boutique.
