The store where we train is one different place before and after the recent renovations.
We needed a change so badly. The floors and walls did not look the best, and we had very little space to organize the donations and merchandise we receive for our boutique every day. No matter how hard we tried to keep the place clean and organized, everything did not seem to be in the right place.
After the renovation
After the renovation, walking into the store was like walking into a real store. We love the new floors and wall color. It feels clean and fresh. We also have a new checkout desk facing the main entrance so we can greet our customers and visitors. We have a bigger closet with sliding doors that make it easy to access the merchandise and items we keep there. We now have an office we can use to contact our wishlist customers, making it much better to interact with them over the phone.
We are deeply grateful for the grant we received to make this dream a reality and to all the contractors, workers, cleaning crew, and team who worked tirelessly to make this a smooth transition and provide us with a better space for our program!
