Under her leadership, with the dedication of the board, staff and volunteers, and the determination of our trainees, we’ve grown our programs and provided more opportunities for neurodivergent individuals to develop workplace skills, build confidence, and achieve greater independence.
Together we’ve:
• Expanded our Training Programs to 5 days per week.
• Launched Intro to Child Care Class, a pilot program that introduces participants to caregiving concepts in a supportive environment.
• Increased the hours of our Girl AGain boutique, which is now open 6 days per week.
• Started Peer Connect for neurodivergent youth ages 15 to 21. A huge success, the program offers a welcoming space to build friendships and practice social skills, fostering confidence.
• Continued to create community partnerships including YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester and Child Care Council of Westchester.
• Introduced birthday parties at Girl AGain for children aged 6 to 12.
• Established our annual fall Art Exhibition, which showcases extraordinary art produced by neurodivergent individuals.
Robin shares that she is honored to have the opportunity to help lead and grow the organization. She has immensely enjoyed her time with the entire Yes She Can family and looks forward to many more years of growth, collaboration, and creating new opportunities for every individual we support. Together, we remain committed to empowering all neurodivergent individuals, strengthening our community, and building a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
