Join our Yes She Can cycling team on September 24, 2022, and Bike to the Beach
We will be riding again with Bike to the Beach, a non-profit organization that helps to raise funds for programs that address the needs of people with autism. The New York ride is from Manhattan to West Hampton, Long Island. You can join for the full century (100 miles) or join at the 50-mile or 25-mile meet-up points along the way. The ride is fully supported and there are rest and refresh stops all along the route.
Meet our 2022 ride captain: Meg Bushuyev
I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to carry the team this year. I’m from Center Moriches, NY, and have lived in NY all my life, now settled in Howard Beach, Queens, which feels like an urban version of my hometown.
I am an account manager for a fine art logistics company and I have two young kids and two cats. When not shipping valuable Picassos or helping with homework, I enjoy riding the Jamaica Bay NYC greenway, right in my backyard or training indoors on my Peloton.
With my love for the beach, staying active, and helping people of all groups, signing up for my first B2B event in 2021 was an easy decision and I’m so glad to have happened upon Yes She Can, Inc. Being a top fundraiser last year has me motivated to grow the team aside other returning riders, promoting autism awareness with the ability to bring in more funds & make a difference.
I am looking forward to another successful year! Cheers!
