I am a business consultant, and a passionate cyclist in my leisure time. I am also a member of the board of directors of Yes She Can Inc. since Marjorie Madfis started this inspiring organization. So naturally, I am forming the Yes She Can Cycling Team to raise funds to support our mission. I’d like you to join me.
I want to leverage my passion for cycling in a way that could contribute beyond my own personal contributions to the organization.
Thousands of cyclists, from novice to expert, are joining the fast-growing trend of short and long distance bike rides to support important causes. So it’s time for us to form a team to give people who want to pursue their passion on the bike and at the same time support our mission of helping adults with autism join the workforce.
Yes She Can is a nonprofit organization that operates Girl AGain, a resale boutique for American Girl dolls, where trainees are immersed in the business to learn job skills and workplace social skills. So far we have served 17 young women though our program operated by professionals who are volunteering their time and expertise. To expand and serve more women we need to raise funds to hire professional staff.

If you or anyone you know is passionate about riding, please contact me at allan@yesshecaninc.org for more information.
Our team will be participating in the Bike to the Beach ride from Manhattan to the Hamptons (Long Island, NY) on Friday June 10th, 2016.
You can also sign up now on our team page for Bike to The Beach. We will be doing rides to the beach in Maryland, New England and next winter in Florida.
Don’t worry – all rides are well-supported, with food and rest stops every mile and vehicles to take you the rest of the way when you have had enough bike time.
Here I am with some of the team members when they were passing through White Plains and toured our store – they gave me a ride in one of the support vehicles they rent for events – very comfortable ride with lots of rooms for bikes.
It’s going to be a fun ride to the beach and a great time at the beach with a group of like-minded cyclists who care deeply about supporting individuals with Autism!
I hope you will join us!
