Everyone at Yes She Can like to express our deepest condolences to the family of Donald Triplett. Donald was the very first person to be diagnosed with autism. He and his wonderful family inspired so many people. In the film and book “In a Different Key,” John Donvan and Caren Zucker, both award-winning journalists, tell the story of the search for the first child diagnosed with autism, Donald Triplett. Donald Triplett was deemed “Case 1” in a 1943 article that reported on what is now called autism. Donal Triplett lived in his hometown of Forest, Mississippi, his whole life. He will be missed by many.
