Jennifer Eisman joins Yes She Can

October 22, 2017 by Marjorie Madfis Leave a Comment

We are delighted to announce that Jennifer Eisman has joined Yes She Can to serve as lead job coach to participants in our job skills training program.  She’ll partner with our dedicated volunteer coaches and report to Lesli Cattan, Director of Training Programs.

Jennifer comes to Yes She Can from the Stamford JCC where, as the Managing Director of Family Services, she oversaw all of the early childhood, youth and teen programs. She also led the expansion of the special needs department, helping to foster a more open and inclusive environment at the JCC.

Previously Jennifer was involved with the introduction of the Jewish Child Care Association (JCCA) Compass Project to Westchester County, helping adolescents, young adults and their families transition to post-secondary programs and adult services. Beyond vocational readiness support and workshops, she worked on several local college campuses helping young adults make healthy choices both as students and as potential employees in the community at large.

Jennifer earned a Bachelors of Social Work from New York University and a Masters of Social Work from Columbia University.

Jennifer has served on several not for profit boards and committees. Currently she is the Secretary of the Westchester Foundation for the Disabled, which supports under- resourced organizations that provide artistic, recreational and vocational programs for developmentally disabled adults and the developmentally disabled adults who might benefit from such programs. She is also an active volunteer at Green Chimneys in Brewster, New York.
