Pam Moskowitz, founder of 100 Percent Beads, based in Chappaqua, NY, came to Girl AGain this week to meet with Yes She Can trainees and host a work tryout.
On Friday afternoon, Pam demonstrated to three Yes She Can trainees how to string different types of beads on both elastic and wire, the beginning process to making bracelets and necklaces.
Claire, Colleen, and Vicky followed Pam’s instructions and proved they would be a valuable workforce for Pam’s growing jewelry business.
Pam uses the highest quality beads including semi-precious gems, stones, and crystals. She told our trainees that each process has an expected time to complete and how important it is to be efficient, yet accurate.
Pam’s previous career was in social work, so she is a great match for our young women who are excited to work with her.
