On Saturday, September 24th, the Yes She Can Cycling Team participated in the annual fundraiser held by Bike to the Beach, a national nonprofit that organizes 100-mile bike rides in support of local autism programs.
This year our team was led by captain Meg Bushuyev. She lead our largest team of riders since we began in 2016. Many rode the century (100 miles) while others rode the half-century (50). Isabelle and I rode 25 miles.
Yes She Can also hosted rest stop #2 at the 30-mile mark. We handed out refreshments and cheered the Century riders on a beautiful morning.
Our team raised over $8500 and still going! Thanks to riders: Meg, Elisabeth, Sam, Ellen, John, Colin, Juan, Biran, Alicia, Juan, Georgios, Lee, Flora, Roberto, Marjorie, and Izzie.
